APEST™ and StrengthsFinder® Coach Training in Seminary Contexts with Father Boniface Hicks OSB
Coming Summer 2019!
A cohort learning experience that equips both Catholic and Protestant seminary formators to use the APEST and StrengthsFinder assessments to help seminarians understand their strengths and unique ministry styles
The primary focus of this workshop is on practicing and sharpening coaching skills. It consists of six 90 minute learning intensives delivered via webinar over six consecutive weeks. The size of the cohort will be 4 to 9 seminary formator participants.
COHORT Participant RequirementS
Receive Top 5 and Bottom 5 StrengthsFinder assessment personal coaching prior to workshop (typically two separate one hour sessions).
Read the Gallup book “Living Your Strengths” (Catholic Edition) chapters 1-3 and 6.
Important Pre-Requisite: Participants must have a strong commitment to personally coach others to understand their APEST and StrengthsFinder assessment results in the context of Human Formation
Bring your APEST and “Full 34” StrengthsFinder reports to your first Learning Intensive. Please use the Alan Hirsch APEST™ Assessment which can be found here: http://www.theforgottenways.org/what-is-apest.aspx

Credentialing Process and Next Steps
Cost is $1,000 per person. Limited Scholarships are available.
The cost includes 2 complimentary hours of coaching prior to the first Learning Intensive, and complimentary participation Practicum Check-Ins during the 90 days after the Sixth and final Learning Intensive. Practicum check-ins allow a seasoned coach to advise and mentor the cohort of participants as they personally lean into their own strengths and practice coach others.

Father Boniface Patrick Hicks, OSB. is a Benedictine monk of Saint Vincent Archabbey and a Catholic priest.
He is the General Manager, Programming Manager and an On Air Host of We Are One Body® Catholic radio (WAOB®), and the Director of Spiritual Formation at Saint Vincent Seminary.
